On 4 December, Sabadell Digital held the Welcome Tech event at the Auditorium of the Corporate Centre—a day dedicated to welcoming the new technological talent joining our organisation. Over 150 professionals took part in this gathering, which stood out for its energy, dynamism and its focus on innovation, collaboration and professional development.
Throughout the day, we spotlighted the three pillars that define Banco Sabadell’s culture: commitment to results, analytical thinking and top-level collaboration. These working principles drive us to achieve excellence through a shared, impact-oriented vision. As we look ahead to 2025, we reaffirm our strategic priorities: delivery, resilience and efficiency—key elements to meet today’s challenges and lead digital change.
Digital transformation was another major theme of the event. The importance of prioritisation and decision-making—both technologically and strategically—was emphasised. In this context, Sabadell Digital renews its commitment to innovation: “We work at the cutting edge, with leading technologies and an awareness of the importance of anticipating our clients’ needs. The event featured key leaders such as Francesc Huguet, General Manager of Sabadell Digital, and CIOs Víctor Rojas, Rosa Boronat Almuzara, Pablo Calvo and Juanma Cid. Also taking part were Rüdiger Schmidt, Director of Technology, and Enrique Ávila, Director of Technological Transformation, who shared their insights on how technology drives the business through a culture of cross-functional collaboration.
